This course will review the principles of periodontal plastic surgery and to select the best techniques for handling the very delicate tissues.

It aims at providing the participants with fundamental knowledge of Optics, which are needed for surgical performance and periodontal plastic surgical techniques to achieve the optimal outcome.

 

The course is a combination of lecture and hands-on workshop focused on developing precise techniques for delicate tissues.

 

Course objectives:

  • Review the basic optics
  • Review the principles of microsurgery
  • Review of wound healing process
  • Practice microsurgery techniques

Participants need to bring their own instruments for Microsurgery hands-on workshop.
